USA Archery JOAD Program – Governors Gun Club
Governors Gun Club Junior Olympic Archery Development Program
By USA Archery
Archery is a lifetime sport that’s adaptable to any ability or skill level!
The Junior Olympic Archery Development Program, we call it JO-AD, is a great place for youth to learn archery year-round, inside and outside, in a safe and fun environment while forming friendships that last a lifetime. Students can enjoy archery recreationally or progress to the excitement of competition. The JOAD Achievement Award Program provides archers a pathway to progress and learn, at their own pace, in a fun, challenging and safe environment.
USA Archery’s JOAD Program is for youth as young as 8 years old. Archers learn range safety and proper shooting technique in an environment that fosters increased self-confidence and team-building skills. JOAD develops skills that lead to competitions at the local, state, regional, or national levels or progress into elite training opportunities such as the Regional Elite Development (RED) Program.
Choose from barrow, basic compound, recurve or compound bow disciplines.
This program is designed to motivate and challenge members to develop their archery skills through progressive scoring achievements. This flexible program adapts to the club environment and development of individual athletes.
Governors Gun Club is looking for new and existing athletes to join the JOAD program now!
