Governors Gun Club is again proud to be hosting another Master Course/Clinic on vintage rifles.  Our next course will be specific to US GI Vintage Rifles.  Sue and Jack Talley will once again be the instructors for this clinic and will provide students a brief history of these rifles, 03 Springfield, M1 Garand and the M1 Carbine.  The Talley’s will discuss how these rifles work and what to look for to ensure these rifles are in good condition.

The clinic will include time on our ranges for hands-on operations with these vintage rifles.  Students will need to bring their vintage rifles, please bring the real thing, along with 50 rounds of ammunition for their rifles.

Instructors: Sue & Jack Talley

Sue holds four National Match Winner’s Plaques for the High M1 Garand Award. She also holds expert ratings with the NRA for High Power Rifle and is a member of the Georgia Blind Hogs Shooting Team which has set a new national record at the National Matches held at Camp Perry, Ohio which is still held today.

Jack is a winner of five National Match Winner’s Plagues and is a Garand-Springfield-Military Vintage Bolt Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) Master Instructor and has worked with many acclaimed gunsmiths who have maintained and accurized the M1 Garand.
