2019 BlazeSports SE Disabled Veterans & Open Indoor Archery Tournament Registration

The Nation's Premier Indoor Shooting Facility

Governors Gun Club is partnering with Blaze Sports SE for a tournament honoring Veterans with disabilities. This tournament will consist of 2 sessions on our Indoor Shotgun Field, the morning session being only open to veterans with disabilities, and an afternoon session open for any and all who would like to compete.

Notes: Barebow= no sight, stabilizer, mechanical release, etc. Genesis bows without sight, stabilizer, and /or mechanical release should select the Recurve division. Genesis bows with sight, stabilizer, and/or mechanical release should select the compound division. ***Compound bows are limited to 60 lbs.

WHEREAS in return for instruction in archery and/or use of premises and for other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the Undersigned agrees to the following:

The Undersigned agrees to indemnify, hold harmless and defend Governors Gun Club LLC (GGC), and any of its employees, directors, officers or agents, from any and all fault, liabilities, costs, expenses, claims, demands or lawsuits arising out of, related to or connected with: the archery equipment and the firing of arrows or bolts, or the course of instruction: GGC range, building, land and premises (hereinafter "Premises"); and, the Undersigned's presence and or use of said Premises. And should any such claim, demand or lawsuit arise or be asserted in any way whatsoever related thereto, whether arising under the laws of the United States, Georgia, or under any theory of law or equity, the Undersigned will indemnify, hold harmless and defend GGC, from any and all costs, expenses or liability including, but not limited to, the cost of any settlement or judgment made or rendered against GGC, whether individually, jointly, or solid with the Undersigned, together with all costs of court and other costs or expenses incurred in connection with any such claim, demand or lawsuit, including attorney's fees.

The Undersigned furthermore waives for himself/herself and his/her executors, administrators, assignees or heirs any and all rights and claims for damages, losses, demands and any other actions whatsoever, which he/she may have or which may arise against GGC, (including but not limited to any and all injuries, damages or illnesses suffered by the Undersigned or the Undersigned's property), which may, in any way whatsoever, arise out of, be related to or be connected with: the course of instruction: the Premises, including any latent defect in the Premises; the Undersigned's property (whether or not entrusted to GGC: and, the use of archery equipment. GGC shall not be liable of, and the Undersigned, on behalf of himself/herself and his/her executors, administrators, assignees or heirs, hereby expressly releases GGC from any and all such claims.

The Undersigned hereby expressly assumes the risk of entering the Premises and of taking part in activities on the Premises which include, but not limited to, the use of archery equipment and the firing of arrows or bolts.

The Undersigned furthermore hereby acknowledges and agrees what he/she has read, understands and will at all times abide by GGC rules and procedures.

This instruments binds the Undersigned and his/her executors, administrators, assignees or heirs.

SAFETY RULES

1. All shooters must sign in at the Archery Range Counter and receive a range pass before shooting.
2. NO broadhead tips allowed. Field Tips only.
3. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
4. NO firearms allowed on the Archery Range.
5. NO sky drawing (drawing the bow while the arrow is pointed upward).
6. Bows must ALWAYS be pointed down range at all times, including while being drawn.
7. Make sure the Down Range Warning Strobe is not active and target area is clear before both nocking an arrow and shooting.
8. No one is allowed past the backstop. If you lose an arrow, ask a Range Safety Officer for assistance, when you are finished shooting.
9. A nocked arrow is like a loaded gun. NEVER nock an arrow until everyone is safely behind the firing line.
10. Use of the range while under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.
11. Tobacco products, food, and beverages are prohibited on the range.
12. Firing at ANYTHING other than approved target will result in revocation of range privileges and being held liable for damage.
13. All shooters must check out at the Archery Range Counter, before leaving.
14. Archery Equipment such as bows, crossbows, arrows, and bolts are not toys. Please follow the safety rules as if it were a firearm.
15. Upon cease fire, activate the Down Range Warning Strobe by depressing the button on the wall to notify fellow shooters.
16. When done shooting, place bow on rest and step back from firing line.
17. Never proceed down range unless a cease fire has been called, the Down Range Warning Strobe is active, and all bows have been placed on rest.

NOTICE: Shooting at any other region of a 3D target besides the replaceable vital organs block could subject you to $10.00 damage fee, IMMEDIATE dismissal, and being barred from future visits.

NOTICE:Shooting broadheads on the range destroys expensive targets. Anyone caught shooting, or determined at a later time of having shot broadheads on the range will be charged $100.00, IMMEDIATELY dismissed, and barred from future visits.
