There has been some media coverage and controversy about the Governors Gun Club application to serve beverages containing alcohol. The following is provided to address any public misinformation, fears or concerns.
Governors Gun Club has been granted permission to obtain a serving license in our members lounge. The lounge is not available to the general public or all club members. Just to be completely clear on some facts not completely covered in the article. The lounge is only accessed by key card issued to a limited group of members (Full Metal Jacket Members). All food and beverage services will be charged to the member’s account allowing tracking of their beverage purchases. Once a beverage is purchased on the customer’s account, the account is flagged and they cannot be checked into the range that day. Full Metal Jacket Members who wish to have a drink after shooting have available to them Gun Valet Service. This service allows their firearms to be stored in the facility...

I would like to encourage everyone to follow the patch link and post your support for the membership lounge and our serving license. There are a few people who are trying to demonize alcohol and not just those that abuse it. They want to let the government control every facet of our lives through government bureaucracy. The same type of persons that try to take away our gun rights due to their own beliefs. We need to show by overwhelming comment that it is the person and not the product! Thank you!
